Kirsty, one of the the founders of Brush Strokes, knows firsthand the importance of both inner and outer strength. In 2020, she experienced a stroke, a life-changing event that challenged her both physically and emotionally. Through the unwavering support of the Stroke Association UK, she found the resources and resilience to not only recover but to redefine her purpose.

Throughout this transformative journey Kirsty was surrounded by family and friends all supporting her through one of the most difficult journey’s of her life.  Witnessing Kirsty's strength and resilience in the face of adversity, Lynsey, Kirsty’s best friend for over 40 years became a pillar of support and a driving force behind the birth of Brush Strokes.

Together, Kirsty and Lynsey, united by their friendship and dedication to female empowerment, envisioned Brush Strokes as a beacon of inner and outer beauty. Their combined strengths – Kirsty's vast experience in the beauty industry and Lynsey's entrepreneurial spirit – laid the foundation for a brand that celebrates women in all stages of life.
